Welcome! Thank you for visiting the new site of the 505th House of Alpha – the Iota Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc!
Iota Delta Lambda (IDL) was founded on May 1, 1968 in Chicago, IL. We are a chapter focused on service to our community as well as youth development. We have a strong belief that the youth are our future, and thus provide programming and scholarships to youth in under-served communities. Also, we actively participate in our Fraternity’s National Programs: Project Alpha, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, and Go To High School, Go To College. IDL has the distinct pleasure of being the founder of Project Alpha, which is a collaborative effort with the March of Dimes designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males.
