WelcomeGreetings Brothers and Guests, Welcome! Thank you for visiting the new site of the 505th House of Alpha – the Iota Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc! The Iota Delta Lambda chapter has enjoyed a long and storied history in the annals of the Mighty Midwestern Region and the Great District of Illinois since our founding on May 1, 1968. We are the home of one of the fraternity’s national programs – Project Alpha, a collaborative effort with the March of Dimes designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males. As well, we are proud to be a chapter known for service to our community, from our work with youth programs such as MOD March For Babies, Real Men Read and Boy Scouts of America to working with our seniors at Alpha Towers as well as serving those in need throughout the Greater Chicago area. Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha who are currently seeking a fraternal home are welcomed and encouraged to fellowship with us. We hold our monthly chapter meetings every third Saturday at 8236 S. Western Avenue in Chicago at 6:30PM. On behalf of the brothers of the Iota Delta Lambda Chapter, I want to thank you for visiting us.
